Urea nitrogen level and creatinine level in blood increase when about half of the kidney function is impaired. That is because kidneys are responsible for clearing excess urea and creatinine away from our body. Normally, urea level fluctuates in range 3.5-7.1mmol/L, and serum creatinine level fluctuates in range of 44-133umol/L. High urea 15.6 and creatinine 434.8 means kidneys have been severely damaged and these numbers indicate kidney disease has developed to stage 4 or stage 5. In such a condition, following diet plan should be followed:

1. Eat less salt, which not only contributes to tight control of blood pressure, but also reduce burden on kidney.

2. Limit protein intake to 0.2-0.4g per kilogram of body weight per day.

3. Try to eat more high quality protein which can be found in lean meat, fish, egg white and milk.

4. Limit fluid intake if there is fluid retention problem. This problem firstly appears in eyelid, face, hands, legs, feet and then spread to the whole body if no treatment is given.

5. Pay attention to potassium level and phosphorus level in blood. If they beyond the normal range values, foods high in potassium and phosphorus should not be included in dining-table.

6. No drinking of alcohol

High urea 15.6 and creatinine level 434.8 are due to impaired kidney function. Daily diet plays an important in the treatment for kidney disease, but we can not get kidney condition stabilized just by making diet changes. Medical treatment is imperative in the improvement of kidney function. When kidney function is restored, high urea and high creatinine are reduced naturally.

Chronic kidney failure is a refractory illness and it can not be controlled well before, but nowadays, with development of medical technology, more and more therapies have been invented to deal with kidney problem. The well-known treatments for kidney disease include Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, Mai Kang Mixture, Cycle Therapy, Immunotherapy, Blood Pollution Therapy and so on. With help of these therapies, not only further kidney damages can be avoided, kidney disease also can be successfully reversed.
