Generally speaking, as for your case, you are not allowed to eat nuts. Most of the nuts are rich in omega 6 fats and lead to higher low density lipo protein. High blood pressure and high cholesterol are related to Type 2 diabetes. If you keep on eating nuts which will make your creatinine level high and will damage the kidneys. In addition, intake of high omega 6 fats will lead to cardiac complications.

Heart disease and diabetes type 2 are also related and induced by bad fatty acids. Type 2 diabetes can be treated by taking water-soluble omega 3 type fatty acid. You should take more omega 3 than omega 6. You can eat foods rich in omega 3 like flaxseed oil and olive oil. Vitamin B12 and vitamin C are necessary to prevent diabetes.

A diabetes diet includes consuming plenty of fresh vegetables, whole grains, protein and 5-7 small meals throughout the day. Sometimes some fruit and occasional sweets can balance blood sugar levels and even weight loss.

Although diabetes patients should avoid nuts due to high omega 6 fats, it does not mean all patients cannot eat nuts. People should choose eating some nuts according to their own medical conditions. Nuts have inflammatory properties, alleviate constipation, and protect heart.
