Secondly, pay attention to your protein intake

If you have early stage kidney disease, your protein intake should be 0.6-0.8 gram per kilogram of body weight per day. However, if your illness has developed to advanced stage, protein intake should be limited to 0.2-0.4g/kg/d. Also, remember to increase your protein intake to 1.2g/kd/d if you are on dialysis, because you might lose some protein during dialysis. High quality protein which can be found in egg white, fish and lean meat is always suggested for you.
